S A R C O , an Australian contemporary artist and designer based in rural NSW, is drawn to the raw beauty and fragility of nature...

Through her thick textural oil paintings, S A R C O captures the essence of the ever-changing landscape with a gestural and expressive approach.

With each brushstroke and mark made by palette knife, S A R C O seeks to unveil the essence of the environment, exposing its intricate details and the way light travels over its surfaces.

Her process is a constant dance between control and spontaneity, resulting in a compelling body of work that celebrates the power and vulnerability of the natural world.

S A R C O ' s pieces are a testament to her deep connection with the land and her ability to translate it onto canvas and board.
Her work invites viewers to contemplate their own relationship with the environment reminding us of its preciousness, inspiring others to protect and preserve it for generations to come.
As founding Director / Designer of T E M P E S T Design Studio a multidisciplinary firm that focussed on landscape design and architecture, her love of creating outdoor spaces began in 2019.
Prior to this S A R C O was head of department for Visual Arts / Design & Technology and taught Visual Arts, Photography, Digital Media, Design and Technology at private Secondary Schools for over 10 years.
Her knowledge of the creative industries during this time enabled S A R C O to lead workshops at Universities and present at national and international conferences.
From 2005 - 2010 she owned a photography business working as a professional photographer focussing on fashion, commercial and aviation photography.
